Stenciling:

  1. Remove backing from self-adhesive stencil, bend at perforation or use a piece of tape.
  2. Place stencil in desired position.
  3. Mask surrounding area thoroughly to prevent overspray.
  4. Apply paint in multiple thin coats rather than one saturated coat.
  5. Be careful not to spray at an angle to avoid lifting the stencil.
  6. Gently remove stencil immediately after painting.
  7. To clean stencil lie flat in a container of water and blot dry.
  8. Store clean stencils on waxed paper.
  9. Stencils can be used over and over.
  10. CAUTION: Do not crease stencil.

Decoration:

  1. Make sure paint is dry from stenciling.
  2. Glue decorative trim around top of bags with glue gun
  3. Glue rhinestones with glue gun
  4. Make bows with organza ribbon and glue onto bag. Glue rhinestones on top of ribbon.
  5. Open up end loops on chain with pliers and insert Peace charm in them, making sure you wrap chain around handle.

Washing Instructions:

Let tote bag dry at least 24 hours. Follow fabric manufacturer's washing instructions.

Helpful Hints Airbrushing:

  1. Keep propellant can upright at all times.
  2. Regularly wipe pouch tips to maintain spray pattern.
  3. If a pouch stops spraying check the following:
    1. The pouch could have dried paint in the nozzle. Open pouch valve completely and close completely a couple times to remove any dried paint.
    2. The propellant can be too cold. With continuous spraying for an extended period of time the propellant can become very cold and will slow airflow. Simply allow cold propellant can to come back up to room temperature.
    3. Make sure the airbrush nozzle is kept clean.
  4. If pouch begins to drip while in use, remove pouch, wipe airbrush clip and pouch nozzle with a paper towel and reattach pouch.
